The villages are car-free at their core, the lifts are steps away, and Woodward Copper — the action-sports training campus — gives it a young, athletic energy. Summers bring golf, disc golf, and the resort's bike and hiking trails, though the village runs quieter than the county's real towns.

There is no municipal Main Street here — Copper is unincorporated and resort-managed — so most owners pair it with the restaurant scenes of Frisco, ten minutes away. That trade is the point: fewer errands, more laps.

Virtually all of Copper's inventory is condominiums and townhomes within the resort's villages, from studio lock-offs to large slope-side residences, plus a small number of ski-in single-family homes at Lewis Ranch. True ski-in/ski-out — where you click in at the door — is real here, and priced accordingly.
